This is a subscription-based product. The retail purchase price of $149.99 includes the recon sentinel device, AC power plug and a cat 5 Ethernet cable and one year of subscription. After the first year, the subscription costs $99.99 per year and you can protect an unlimited number of devices on your network. You can renew the subscription from the app when you want to by going to the Home screen. There it displays the expiration date of the service, you can click that to extend the service.
